last night concert was… G-R-E-E-E-E-E-E-A-A-A-A-A-T-T-T-T-T-T! Switchfoot brought the house down. man, they rock! they started with the song, Oh Gravity and the crowd just went wild :D . ang galing. song after song the crowd just never tire of shouting and screaming.
-
dont expect pics and videos cos i dont have them :( mys sis brought with her the new camera. but i am now googling youtube for said event.. and so far found some. i’ll just embed them here later for video-playing.

the best song for me that night.. Meant To Live. before the song, Jonathan talked something about the IJM foundation and on how the concert will help realize the foundation/organization’s goals.. and how everyone of us is making a difference with our attendance there.. hehe o di ba may concert na, nagkawang-gawa pa kami. we must reach out.. blah blah blah :D and it was climaxed with.. Meant to Live. how fitting indeed. hanep ang galing ng rendition.
-
memorable moments.. intro of each band member.. applaud, applaud.. came jerome’s turn, the pinoy.. never did the clapping and the cheering been that long and loud.. everybody was soooo proud of our kababayan.. :D syempre pa. he just said few filipino lines and said that he had a surprise for the band. he made them eat “balut”. ewwww :D . ala silang nagawa. they have to. Jonathan said something like.. i dont wanna eat that again, to tell you honestly.. hehe kadiri nga naman no. balut? ewww talaga. pero game sila. and everybody applauded them.
-
and so after one and a half hours, the band bid goodbye to the cheering crowd. i wonder kung ilan ang namaos that night :D cos the cheers and screaming were non-stop. hyper ang audience, as in. sumakit ata mga palad ko kaka-palakpak hehe. kung pwede lang i-extend pa sana. great.. simply great performance! haaaaaaayyyy.

ang galing talaga.. mapa-live o cd halos alang pinagkaiba. their songs and voices are timeless, soothing and you’ll never get tired hearing them again and again.. and again..
-
and since feeling groggy pa ko, to follow na lang mga pictures. reached home around 2am na and we have work pa by 8am. di naman kami na late pero antok lang talaga. two more hours here sa office at makauwi na para matulog.

i sure dont wanna miss this one. may colleagues are not familiar with their songs. waaaa! gusto ko manood!

Live8

a colleague lent me his DVD of Live 8 concerts. wow galing talaga! i wasnt able to watch it last year. now am more than glad that i saw it at last. ’twas a 3-part show and each lasted 2 hours or so. just imagine me staring at the television screen for most of the day :D

syempre part by part ko lang pinanood baka mag-init ang player hehe. i was so overwhelm yesterday that i re-played over and over again selected performances. galing! started by the ever-charismatic voice of Bono (U2), then Coldplay with Richard Ashcroft.. whew what a performance. i just downloaded the midi format of BitterSweet Symphony so i can save it as my cell’s ringtone :D

and golly, golly goodness! the performance to die for.. GREEN DAY! howeeeeee galing talaga! Billie Joe Armstrong was simply superb! His rendition of “We are the Champions” was amazing.

other great performances were that of REM, Keane, and Black Eyed Peas. it’s just sad not all were included in the dvd.

haaaay ayoko muna ibalik at balak ko panoorin pa ulit :) )
