A great firework display to behold!
‘Tis the second time around that the World Pyro Olympics was held in the bay area of Pasay City. Participants from denmark, us, canada, uk, germany, australia, spain, poland and china showed off their art and skill in pyrotechnic display. the competition was divided into 5 sets during the weekends (January 5, 6, 7, 12 and 13.) Philippines had the last blast of the competition. ’twas just a special exhibition, being the host country. and based on all i’ve seen, ’tis the best one hehe. they displayed the most colorful, the most innovative, the biggest, the longest and the loudest explosions. syempre, patatalo ba pinoy? 
pictures and videos wont do justice to the wonderful lights and colors that illuminated the sky. simply breath-taking! ’twas worth all the wait, and the hike back home. yes we have to walk cos the main roads were flooded with people. thousands and thousands of spectators that hailed not only from the metro, but from neighboring towns and provinces came to witness the event!
as per reports, UK won the grand prize (last year, australia was the champion.) also, the event will be hosted again here on january of 2008. till then.
