aint this movie cute? a panda (Po) who desperately aspires to learn kung fu. and by sheer accident (but accidents dont happen
), Po was declared the new Dragon Warrior. wow! and here began the conflict. the master (Shifu) and his trained students didnt like Po. cos he’s a nobody. he doesnt have the background. he doesnt have the built. he’s not taking everything seriously. being the designated Dragon Warrior means he’s got to be the best in kung fu so he can defeat the antagonist Tai Lung. he’s got to defend the community and restore peace and order to the whole valley. how can Po do that? hala!
-
but eventually Master Shifu took a risk and trained Po. he found a great motivator and Po’s weakness — food. and so began the training.
-
time came that the whole village was threatened by Tai Lung’s return and revenge, Po was given the great Dragon Scroll which everybody thought contained a secret writings or techniques or powers to be the ultimate dragon fighter ever. but everybody was shocked upon knowing and seeing that the scroll contained nothing. it was blank. no writings whatsoever. what will they do now? <pause..>

my rating? 4 stars. had a good laugh on several scenes. not boring at all. despite the predictable ending, i liked the story.

currently hooked with Prison Break. this series is already on its 4th season in the US. starring wentworth miller as michael scofield, the brother who intentionally commits a crime by robbing a bank (he’s far too cute to be a robber
) he got himself sentenced for 5 years at fox river penitentiary for the purpose of saving his brother who was sentenced to death for a crime he didnt commit. michael thought an escape plan to rescue his brother before the execution time. and so the story begins..
i am only beginning to know the characters in this very engrossing action-drama that will keep you at the edge of your seats. the gripping reality-laden scenes are so defined and to the point; sometimes may be blunt and violent but it was presented in such a way that it has to be there to make the storyline realistic. i found myself sort of “involved” with everything that is happening in the show. with every character. i felt empathy with both of the protagonists and the villains. just cant stop watching one episode after another. great actors. great storyline.
have heard reviews about this years back but since no station showed this on local tv, i never get to watch it. but lately rpn 9 included this on their primetime schedule. was able to watch one episode and that’s it. gotta see all seasons. started with the first season dvd. now im hooked
big time.
two thumbs up!
ooopss..! checked out wentworth miller’s profile and.. what a coincidence.. today, the day i wrote about his show, is also his birthday!

released way back 2005, this RPG was a sequel to the Champions of Norrath. kinda old yet it’s only lately that we got to play this. we’re just halfway through it. hopefully a week or so more and we’ll finish this off cos i only have weekends and after-office time to spend. the missions and challenges can be very engaging though repetitive at times. the level ups excites me
cos it gives me more APs to easily defeat the enemies. still got a long way to go and so one plane at a time and more bosses to fight
before i proceed to another.
